Topic: anyone know of a larry shrock that raced at okc1/4 mile?

I would like to know if Larry Shrock & or D.E SUGGS put a older bolt on roll cage sprinter together & made it a 100inch car, back in the late 70s early 80s maybe car #16 silver car & red number. 1/4 mile car.. any info would help.

D.E. was on the half mile during those years. The car I'm thinking of would be before '75.

Thats correct, I think the car you are thinking of,& the one shrock drove maybe the same car. brian have you got my emails. i also think larry shrocks son may have raced at SFS in the last few years, but i dont know his name, all this still come from the Suchy.76& 13 story ..maybe this car is the c.a.e car benny taylor to finish the 73 season.

I remember a Kevin Schrock who raced a Champ sprint for a few years, and maybe a factory stock, too. He was DE Suggs grandson, I think, or nepew, I'm not sure which. Same color orange as DE's ole' #11. I don't remember Kevin's car #.

What year was that picture? I think it was too far back. Kevin was just in the last 6-7 yrs. I wanna say he drove the 50 car just a couple or 3 years ago. I'm just not positive, tho. That picture was B.L., huh? Before Lanny. Back when we still used the 1/2 mile.

may be right driver but the car is a barrnett 100inch car.,Im look for larry or kevin in hopes to answer a question . is the car larry drover the old de suggs car that was lengthen from a c.a.e sprinter in the early 70s

Kevin raced a black champ sprinter with red #11x, and finished 18th in points last year at SFS.

kevin started out in factory stocks 5 years ago then moved to sprints, the picture above is from tyhe late 80s early 90s and it is de suggs and yes de was kevins granpa

Yes they did. It was a CAE chassis. It was originally a open cockpit 89" bolt-on cage (springer front end) Sprint car. I owned, and drove the car in the late 80's. If you want more info I have most all of the details.
