$3000 to win Stock Car Nationals This Week at OSP!

 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – September 22, 2013 - The fourth annual Stock Car Nationals is set to take place this coming Wednesday through Saturday night, September 25-28th at Oklahoma Sports Park in Ada, Oklahoma with Saturday night’s championship feature finale winner set to take home $3000.

The track will also be hosting the second annual Sport Mod Nationals as well.

Wednesday night will be practice, registration and inspection with gates opening at 5:00 PM and practice beginning at 7:00 PM. Grandstand admission is free while pit passes are $30.

Then on Thursday night the racing action gets underway with gates opening at 5:00 PM and racing at 7:00 PM. The night will feature a complete race program consisting of the following: Draw for heat starting position; Heat winners will go to the night’s “A”, 2nd to the “B”, and 3rd to the “C”. Winners will draw for starting position in the night’s “A” feature. Five cars move from “C” to “B”, and five cars move from “B” to “A”. Top five in Thursday night’s “A” feature qualify for Saturday night’s championship “A” features inside 5 rows. Next five (positions 6-10) will qualify for inside five rows in Saturday’s “B” main.

Friday night’s racing action will also see pit gates open at 5:001 PM with racing action slated for a 7:00 PM start time. The format is the same as Thursday night’s with the top five in the night’s “A” feature qualifying for first outside five rows of Saturday night’s championship “A” feature. The next five (positions 6-10) will qualify for the outside rows of Saturday’s “B” feature.

Grandstand ticket prices for both Thursday and Friday night are $10 for adults; $8 for ages 11-15 as well as seniors. Pit passes will be $30 both nights.

Then on championship Saturday night, gates open at 5:00 PM with racing starting at 5:00 PM. Ten cars are qualified for the championship “A” feature and ten cars are qualified for “B” feature. All other cars draw for start in last chance races. Ten cars move from last chance to “B” and ten moves from “B” to “A”. The top 20 non-qualifiers will race in non-qualifier race.

Adult general admission on Saturday night is $15 while ages 11-15 as well as seniors cost is just $8. Pit passes are $30.

Driver entry fee is $200 and must be paid at the pit gate. Championship Saturday night’s payout for the Stock Car Nationals is as follows:

A Feature: 1) $3000, 2) $2000, 3) $1400, 4) $1000, 5) $800, 6) $700, 7) $650, 8) $600, 9) $550, 10-20) $500

B Feature: 1-10) Qualify for championship feature, 11-16) $300, 17-20) $250

Non-qualifying feature: 1-10) $100, 11-20) $50

Championship “A” feature payout is guaranteed with no car minimum required for purse.
