Stovall Sweeps NCRA Weekend while Magee Claims Late Model Title!

FOR IMMEDIATE REELASE – Salina, Oklahoma – September 21, 2013 - Jesse Stovall doubled up the final weekend for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products late model tour as he led wire to wire in claiming $3000 at the Salina High Banks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma on Saturday night. The event was also the season finale for the MARS DIRTcar late model series.

While Stovall captured his second consecutive tour victory, Jacob Magee claimed the 2013 championship as well as the G&G Dozer rookie of the year honors.

Jimmy Segraves and Stovall started on the front row for the 40 lap feature finale with Stovall taking the lead as the green flag fell. Stovall survived several cautions flags throughout the event and held off challenges from Brad Looney to claim the victory.

Looney would settle for second while Gary Christian finished third for the second night in a row. Justin Asplin and Tony Jackson, Jr. rounded out the top five. Jackson would nail down the MARS DIRTcar series championship.

The four heat races for the twenty-five car field were won by Looney, Stovall, Chris Hawkins and Segraves while Chuck Corner claimed “B” feature honors.

Magee will be officially crowned the 14^th different champion in the tour’s thirty year history at the season ending banquet in January.
