Can't make it Wednesday, but looking forward to my first STN this year! Hoping to find a camp spot somewhere. Long drive from the nearest campground.

There is an RV park in Benton - 10 miles south of the race track.

Does this mean we'll have a year where NOBODY bitches about track prep?

I doubt it. The track has not been very racy the last month or so. Its been a freight train on bottom. Hope that changes!

We have been trying for months to get a spot, guess if you are new you are out of luck. I have never been to a sprint car race where I have to camp at the nearest RV park.

The last day to get multi-day discount packages is 10-21-13. The price is $61 for all four days or $51 for a 3 day set.
the track will be fine. It has been the last couple years, especially since the Saturday night format change.

This place is starting to concern me.... 1st) to camp you have to be in an exclusive club... no room for new fans.... 2nd) I have been calling the track for the past month but no answer... so how can you buy these discount tickets????

So you think they should occasionally bump out campers who have supported the event from day one so a new person can come?
With gas prices, I have found it MUCH cheaper too get a hotel there rather than drag my travel trailer there and back.

There is no exclusive club. The folks that had camp spots last year had until 8-31 to renew them. It is no different than those of us that camp at Knoxville, we have first dibs at our spot there too. Also no different than trying to get chili bowl tickets, the people that had them last yr get dibs and the rest go on a waiting list.
camping space is very limited. I have been told the track actually doesn't own the area where the campers are.
I have never had a problem getting tickets but I e-mail them rather than call.

The whole place is a shithole! Nastiest bathrooms I have EVER seen. I used the porta potties, they were cleaner and didn't wreak of piss as bad. The bleachers are unsafe and have needed repair for years. Someone is going to get hurt. The food they serve is not fit for human consumption. Parking lot is a joke and you may have to park a mile away from the track. And now they put Memphis dirt on the track and it sucks. Say what you want, I don't care, there is no way in hell I would ever go back there for anything!!!!
You can tell an ass... but, you can't tell 'em much

Hey guess what. NOBODY will miss you. Stay home. Best race and party of the fall. So for good bathrooms go to Home Depot or lowes and look at displays. Well all be focusing on RACING. The reason for Everything.

Hit the nail on the head with this comment. Seems like with the money they rake in, they could make some improvements over the years.

Get ur facts straight. The $ they make thru the yr pays for stn. The $ they make at stn pays for reg season. There is an ordinance that the city of little rock Has saying That if they did upgrades they have the disgression to shut the truck down bcuz the city wont issue them permits to updrade

Thanks for the information.... We will be going back again this year, but is not a track that you bring someone to, that you want to introduce them to dirt track racing.... I can just imagine how bad the ladies restroom is, because the men's is terrible.... I do not eat at the track period....... Eat before you get there and be careful walking in the stands....
