I believe this would be the highest non-sanctioned race in PA by a long shot. Only the Williams Grove National Open, Don Martin Memorial and maybe the Williams Grove Summer Nats are higher, but are all sanctioned by the WOO. I would hope that such a good paying race that honors a great guy like Jim Nace would draw a stellar field, but some drivers don't like the high corner speeds and multi-groove racing that Selinsgrove offers. It's a shame if the teams don't support it because it would most likely be gone in a couple years, but I think they will get around 30 cars which is enough for a good show. Everyone worries about the turnout for the 410 races at Selinsgrove but when the gates open, it's usually more than a full field.

The Dream Race at Port has a bigger purse "non sactioned" for a one night show in pa. The Nace Memorial is the second highest purse.

Considering 12th place still pays around $1000.00 I dont see how the purse could be much better. Glad to see that now Rahmer and Ryan Smith are planning to come but it looks like no Stevie Smith, and 28 of the 42 cars that ran Port last week most likely will not be there.

Wrong, the Dream race used to pay better but this year it was 10G plus lap money and nowhere near $700 to start.

I am talking total payout for the evenings activities.
Dream Race
I don't like the format of the dream...but with everything this is the better paying of the 2.
2,000 To win each semi main
3,000 Total amount of contingency cash getting paid out during event
4,505 Purse posted for a 24-car non-qualifiers event
10,000 Total contingency prize value of evening
10,000 Dream A Main winner gets at least this much
18,976 Total purse value of twin semi mains
33,750 Amount of 30-lap Dream A Main feature total payout
55,000 Entire purse payout value of complete Dream event
65,000 Total combined value of night including contingency cash, contingency prizes and purse payout
Nace Memorial
Where the Nace Memorial has a total payout of around 45,000 for all evenings activities.

CJB Motorsports & Stevie Smith are parting ways at the end of the 2013 season.
Chad & I want to Thank Stevie, Jeremy, Heath, Mike & John for all of their hard work and efforts on the CJB #19 this year. As it was a last minute decision to put the Black Bandit back on the road for the 2013 season none of us knew where it would lead and we had no future plans past this season. With heavy hearts Chad & I have decided to focus on one team. It was not an easy decision. It is not an easy task by any means fielding two sprint car teams.
We have made many friends through owning the #19 including a strong and valued friendship with Stevie, Niki & the CJB #19 crew. We look forward to finishing out the season with them. I know many are disappointed as are we.
This is a post from Chad & I personally not a scripted press release. I want people to know that we truly love & value this sport and in order for us to continue, it is in our best interest to only field one car. We can't thank all of Stevie's fans for being so supportive the last two years and to our partners, Kistler Engines, All Star Performance, Butler Built, Spectro Oils, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, Bairs Tree Service, Nyce Crete, Landis Block & Concrete who jumped on board after we had decided to bring the Bandit back this year.
Stevie Smith is not only a great sprint car driver he is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and Chad & I are honored to be able to call him our friend. We wish him nothing but the best of luck with what ever his future has in store for him. Thank you Stevie, Niki, Jeremy, Danielle, Heath, Mike & John for everything.
