As everyone has already heard Mike Peters was involved in a very nasty sprint car wreck last night in Nebraska...we have waited to post anything until we actually talked to the family...so here is the update....he went to surgery about 45 minutes ago...his vertabraes C5 & C6 are the two injured vertabraes. .one is dislocated & the other is fractured. They are going to put the dislocated one back in place & fuse the vertabraes together. ..they are leaving the fractured one alone for now! He does NOT have any paralysis though & the doctors are confident that he will have a full recovery!! He will be in Lincoln, Ne for a couple days as long as surgery goes well! At this time the family is just asking for everyone to keep them in your prayers!! We will keep everyone updated....We all know what a tough competitor Mike is...so we know he will be back up & going in no time soon!! Get better soon Mike!!
