Some have there own business's depending on what series they run. Drivers make a percentage on there winnings and that depends on the agreement with the car owner, same goes for sponsorshop dollars and t-shirts sales.

A hired gun typically makes 30-40% of what the car wins...some get 50% for a win.... an owner/driver gets much much less I'm sure... I have no doubt there are many hired drivers getting less or more but 30-40 is pretty common.
Loose is when you hit the wall with the rear of the
car, tight is when you hit the wall with the front of
the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall and
torque is how far you move the wall.

And whats truly amazing is how he nails the part perfectly on each and every re-run.

Last I knew, Lasoski was still just a full-time racer
Dobmeier owns and operates his own business: Forx Radiator in Grand Forks, ND
Zomer is an accountant by day for his family business (Zomer Trucking)
Rahmer was a full-time racer, but said on Winged Nation earlier this year that he was going to have to look for a job since he wasn't going to race anymore.
McCarl is generally a full-time racer, but I know he and Lori have both taken jobs in the past when finances were tight (I'd imagine this is one of those years).

Andy Forsberg, works year-round, owns a cabinet refinishing business.
Brad Sweet used to work for him..but he said he had to wake him up every morning!

Many years ago an old roomate of mine asked me what Tim Kaeding does for a living and my answer was "he drives a sprintcar". To my knowledge TK hasn't done anything but going back to when he first started driving the things.

Joann could probably clear that up. It has been awhile so I have to admit that.

Thanks always wondered what everyone did for a living. I know the Alexanders and Bell haul grain some of the time, I see them come into where I work.

In the past Tim has done House framing, electrician, cement pouring, radio installation , house painting, tile work... and has helped Greg with cleaning pools.. I Am sure i forgot something.. This year is the first time Tim has raced year round with going to Australia. Tim drives for 50% of heat the car makes with Dennis ... Bud use to race for a living but, now he works at Kaedings and races.. I don't know what he takes from racing..
