Thanks to a secret back alley deal (just kidding) I received the newest edition of Mike Arthur's "Old School" today. This one is Volume 3 and features work from the year 1980. Gracing the cover is the iconic first ever cover of dearly beloved and departed "Open Wheel" which is of course Bubby Jones in the Gaschem sprinter. From the book cover to the preface by "Dr. Dick" Dick Berggren to the classy and loving tribute to Jason Leffler to whom the book is dedicated all the way to the teaser shot of the cover of the next volume I can assure you it will be worth every penny you will pay for it. If the first two volumes were hard for a lot of us to relate to because a lot of the material was "before our time" this book will be something just about anyone born before 1990 can enjoy and appreciate. Buy it now: https://www.sprintcarstuff.com/ProductDetail.aspx?id=3022 I predict that this one will probably need a third or fourth printing before it's all said and done.
