Bradshaw Belleville NCRA Mod-Lite Master!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Belleville, Kansas – September 1, 2013 - One night after a heat race accident took him out of an opportunity to start that night’s feature finale, Tyler Bradshaw redeemed himself and led wire to wire in winning the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products mod-lite feature Sunday night at the Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas to wrap up the third night of the “1-135 Challenge.”

Bradshaw started on the pole for the twelve lap feature with Brandon Gray along his outside as the field done battle on the small, quarter mile sitting inside the famed half mile. Bradshaw took the lead at the start and quickly built a six car lead over Gray and extended it to a half stretch at the races midway point.

While the leader had things in control, the battle for the runner up position was tight as Gray found challenges from Danny Morrison, Jr., Justin Kinderknecht and Brian Davidson.

Things would get interesting with one lap to go as lapped traffic slowed the leaders pace, giving Gray a chance to close the deficit to five car lengths. But Bradshaw would find his way around the lapped car and go on to claim his first tour victory of the season and third different winner in the three race “1-135 Challenge.”

Gray, who is second in the point standings, would hold on to second while Morrison, Jr., came home third. Current tour point leader Kinderknecht finished fourth while Ryan Secrest rounded out the top five.

The two heat races for the nine car field were won by Bradshaw and Gray.

The next scheduled event for the NCRA mod-lite division is scheduled to take place on Saturday night, October 12th at 81 Speedway in Park City where the inaugural champion for the division will be decided.
