Joe Adams Claims NCRA Sport Mod Victory at Siloam Springs!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - West Siloam, Oklahoma - August 31, 2013 - Joe Adams started on the pole , took the lead at the start and never looked back as he picked up his first feature victory of the season as the Bob Howard PDC and Mopar National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products southern sport mods made their first ever appearance at Siloam Springs Speedway in West Siloam, Oklahoma on Saturday night.
By virtue of picking up the most finishing and passing points in his heat race, Adams got the jump on outside fellow front row starter Cleo Adams as the green flag fell for the twenty lap feature finale. Six cautions slowed the pace of the field but that didn’t detour J. Adams from leading all laps to claim the victory. Fifth starting Kenny Morris would come home second while Todd Decker, who came into the night second in the point standings by just five points finished third. Current tour point leader Mark
Harrison finished fourth and with finishing two positions ahead of Decker in their heat race, will continue to lead the points. Chris Lyons started eighth and came home with a top five finish.
Heat races for the fourteen car field were won by C. Adams and J. Adams.
The next event for the Bob Howard PDC and Mopar NCRA sport modified division will take place on Saturday night, September 14th at Salina High Banks Speedway in Salina, Oklahoma.
