Dillon Rafferty Dominates in NCRA Mod Lite 81 Speedway Challenge!

FOR IMMEDIATERELEASE - Park City, Kansas - August 31, 2013 - Dillion Rafferty of Kansas City, Missouri made the long tow worth it as he took the lead at the start and never looked back as he claimed the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products mod-lite feature Saturday night in race number two of the “1-135 Challenge” at 81 Speedway in Park City.
David Rafferty and Dillion Rafferty started on the front row for the fifteen lap feature with both drivers racing side by side in a battle for the lead with Dillion getting the lead as the green flag fell.
Three laps was complete before the first of two cautions fell when Don Foster spun in turns one and two.
On the restart Dillion jumped out front and maintained the lead while current tour point leader Justin Kinderknecht pressured David Rafferty for the runner up position on lap four and took over second.
Three laps later David Rafferty regained the runner up position and set sail on the leader. However, despite a caution on the last lap, thee green-white-checkered finish saw Dillion Rafferty have no serious challenge and went on to claim his first tour victory of the season.
David Rafferty came home second while Kinderknecht finished third. Friday night’s Salina Speedway winner Bob Bills came from twelfth to finish fourth while Jason Roe rounded out the top five.
The two heat races for the sixteen car field were won by Dillion Rafferty and Kinderknecht.
Race number three on the “1-135 Challenge” will take place tomorrow (Sunday) night at the Belleville High Banks in Belleville, Kansas.
