Bills Wires Field in NCRA Mod Lite Salina Victory!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Salina, Kansas – August 30, 2013 - Bobby Bills took the lead from his outside front row starting position and never looked back in claiming the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products mod-lite feature Friday night in the first night of the “1-135 Challenge” at Salina Speedway in Salina, Kansas.
Nick Watts started on the pole for the twenty-five lap feature but it was Bills who took the lead as the green flag fell. Bills throttled out to a comfortable lead while behind him, fourth starting Tyler Bradshaw and current tour point leader Justin Kinderknecht battled for the runner up position. This battle for position lasted all race long with both drivers racing side by side, allowing Bills to pull away with a sizeable advantage.
The feature finale would go caution free and saw Bills go on to take the $500 feature victory. Bradshaw settled for second with Kinderknecht coming home third. Watts fell back to fourth while ninth starting Brandon Gray rounded out the top five.
The two heat races for the twelve car field were won by Watts and Bills.
Night number two of the “1-135 challenge” will take place tomorrow (Saturday) night at 81 Speedway in Park City.
