I have tickets for sunday cant wait to see larson run the non wing and midget should be an excellent show of cars for the money there offering.. Ok guys here we go again its 10,000 to win for the midgets and an awesome payday for sprints.. irecommend you watch this show should have some quality entrants.. will show up on saturday just not sure what time i can get thewre thinking of going in pits see you guys there.

Thanks Bobby and I wish I could big time, but I'll be struggling for the legal tender until late Friday. I might be able to get over to Thunder raceway in Show Low for night two of that show though. We'll see.

I wish I could go. Haven't been to Calistoga in years. Does anyone know if they still do hang gliding on the right if your traveling from the south? Always wanted to do it, everytime I see people flying up in the air on the way to Calistoga. I may have to plan a trip next March if the WoO stops in Stoga.

The Glider Port has been closed for at least a decade and I want to say even longer than that. From what I have heard the WoO will not be returning in the spring next year but time will tell. If you are going to make the trip to Calistoga and have to pick one event to do it the Vermeil should be it as it really is one of the best all around events you can consider attending. Also - good advice on the drinking and driving :-).

Thanks for the info. I guess it's been longer than I thought since the last time I was there. Nextyear I'll plan a trip to this race and the Goldcup. 7 racedays in 9 days at 3 tracks will be worth it.

Thanks to Tommy and Jeanie Hunt for inviting me to be a part of the great Louie Vermeil Classic at Calistoga this weekend!
I will be at the Hall of Fame induction dinner on Fri night and at the festivities on Sat and Sun afternoons and will get to see some great racing thrown in both nights as well.
I will have 20 collectors editions and 20 standard editons of my book "Still Wide Open" available at the dinner and at the track for those interested. (We are down to less then 40 collectors editons from 500)
It is going to be a great weekend!!!!
