So what does this actually entail? Is it just tow money and how much is it? Winged Nation reported the 1a and 1s were looking into the tour because of it.

Per night they race but if two day show you only receive one tow money check. Rained out, no tow money. Face it the tow money is the only way guys like Rose, Gravel, Sides and Kemenah can afford to stay the road. Other benefit of Platinum Membership is you get some discounted and free pit passes.

I guess it makes sense if you think about it, as long as you don't have to hold down a real job.
You are probably going to spend somewhat similar amounts of money running a schedule similar to Logan and Jacob's racing every chance they get at home and making the early tows through the south, and the big races through the summer. The hard ones will probably be the early Cali tour where they only race one night a week, once the tour gets rolling and racing 2 or 3 nights there is 2 - 3K per week guaranteed (minus the rain of course) Some weeks that probably won't pay for the fuel to get therem but if anyone can do it on a shoestring it's Scruffy

In the uncle Ted days it was $1000 if my memory serves (for one night shows) and $500 per night for multi-day shows. Previous year champion got an extra $1000 too. (of course back then they only had 6 or 7 traveling teams and the sanction fee was around $12-15000 so it was ~ 1/2 of the sanction fee.
Nowadays the sanction fee is over $20,000 and they only give out $500 per car for single day shows or multi-day shows and they have 10-12 full-time teams (wierd, they take in more $$, put pay out less than they did back then....

If you run a Ford, its 10 bucks.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

with the price of diesel fuel and four or five MPG it doesn't take long to figure that one out, no tow, no go...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

My ass its gone up since the days of Ted,why just a couple of years ago it was $700 a night,& now it's $500 a night, just another way of WoO stealing from the racers, just like their so called $6000 to win midweek shows that are supposed to encourage new tracks & promotors with a smaller sanctioning fee,& yet if you look at what tracks they run those races at,they are WoO owned tracks & tracks that are promoted by SLS, greed that's all it is,gotta keep money in the big people's wallets & screw the racers!

Twenty years ago I know uncle Ted gave us $200 a night. Never saw anymore than that and I saw the cash being handed out to all the teams. (I do think Steve got an esxtra hundred...or two..in his envelope!)

Cali will be the worst right out of the gate. Scruffy never could afford to make the haul regularly even when he was racing. Would be nice if someone on the West Coast could put them up. I'm sure good crew help cheap will also be needed. Any young racers out there in between jobs... I doubt you'll ever find out how to go fast cheaper than Scruff. Pennys on the dollar education and will probably be the most fun you will ever have in your lives. Scruffy stories are legendary.

I don't think anyone really answered the question. On IBracn, Logan Schuchart said the reason he plans on running the full WoO tour in 2014 is because of the new Platinum Package offered by the WoO along with increased tow money thanks to running two cars out of the same hauler (with Jacob Wilson in the other car), apparently they'd get double the tow money and the Platinum Package, whatever the he11 that is. He made it seem like the Platinum Package was one benefit and the double tow money another. Can't believe it only meant discounted or free pit passes??? Help?
Lawlessness and liberalism equals Hell. NY City,
Detroit, Seattle, Chicago, Minnepolis, etc. We saw it.
Burning hundreds of buildings, a thousand assaults and
dozens of murders. Getting worser and worser.

I know nothing about this, but I do know that Bobby Allen is a mechanical genius that should have made millions off his ideas, but wasnt a business man. Doesn't change the fact he can make a little to a long way. I also know his son's last name is definitely Allen and not Wilson. This is a team with 2 drivers, 2 engines, 2 chassis, and one hauler. If kinser and schatz figure out how to fit all their shit in one hauler they could get two tow bills for one hauler too. Doesn't seem likely.
