Yep I agree....Fox Sports can kiss my you know what!!!! Also gone is Speedweek....the only chance we had to see what was going on on other racing divisions.( especially after losing Nat'l Speed Sport News) Always liked Dave Despain....did not feel like he was sleeping with NASCAR. Seemed to call it like it was. Did really good interviews. Oh well ... lets get our money together and start " The Sprint Car Network" Nothing but non wing sprint car racing. What do you think of even allowing a little bit of wings also?

Perhaps MAV-TV or Velocity will pick up the slack. I wouldn't mind seeing Robin Miller hosting the show. Can you imagine Robin Miller interviewing Jack Hewitt.

Sprint car racing may be too highbrow for FAUX, ya know. All ya gotta do to figure out Murdoch's marketing strategy is look at all his other outlets and figure out what he figured out: Half the people on the planet have IQs of 99 or less... and they are far better marks for whatever snake oil our advertisers are selling this week. ..... Okay. Now that I've vented my spleen about =that=, let's try something else to agitate the locals: How many people here truly believe there will be a URA race at Santa Maria this coming Saturday? And if they do believe there will be such a thing, how many cars will show up? (A little help here: There are no non-winged 410 or 360 shows scheduled anywhere else south of Placerville or Antioch that I know of.) Ready... set... GO!

Sprints will be running at Silver Dollar on Friday evening and at Marysville on Saturday evening. It is only 84 miles from Placerville to Marysville. It is 366 miles from Placerville to Santa Maria.

Thanks Harry & Rob; couldn't get on Ventura's website last night (fast enough). So.... based on what we have seen at Victorville, San Berdoo and Santa Maria in recent times, here's what I will suggest we'll see in a "best case" scenario on Saturday at SMS if there is a show. (And of course, I have been starry eyed before.)
0k . black/orange . Kenny Perkins . Victorville . Perkins
2 . black/gold . Austin Williams . Yorba Linda . Jory
4 . silver/red . Nic Faas . Huntington Beach . Alexander
10 . white/orange . Rich Vander Weerd . Visalia . Vander Weerd
21k. white/blue . Aiden Corish . Australia . Cory Kruseman
39 . yellow . Cal Smith . Phelan . Smith
44 . black/gold . Cody Williams . Yorba Linda . Jory
72 . red/white . Greg Alexander . Gardena . Bellegante
83 . black . Austin Liggett . Tracy . Liggett
87 . blue/white . Ricky Kirkbride . Bakersfield . ___
88 . white/blue . Jace Vander Weerd . Visalia . Vander Weerd
89 . white/red . Dave Waugh . Australia . ___
91r . green/gray . Brody Roa . Buena Park . Roa
Plus three or four "surprises." Commentary?

Matt's been showing up and Rip has always been there with 4 cars... Oh, and Seth is very up on the URA and he's been to all as well.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

It is five o'clock on Sunday what am I supposed to do? Windtunnel is gone!
|
The Hell with Windtunnel. I'm at a devistated w/o those Emmy Award winners like Hard Parts, Pimp My Ride, Stunt Busters, Dumbest Stuff on Wheels, My Ride Rules, American Trucker, Wrecked and the all-time best, Unique Whips. Now that was television!
