Defending tour champion Marc Hurd leads the current point standings by a mere 70 points over fellow Wichita, Kansas resident Dan Powers. A strong contingent of track regulars will look to take home the $1000 first place prize. They include Weaver, Logan Cabbell, Dee and Jeremy Gossett, Conner Pullen, Alan Sharpensteen and Braden Woods.

Drivers from Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico are expected to compete at one or both venues.

Gates will open at 5:00 pm with a 7:00 pm race start time. The Speedway is located 1 1/2 miles south of Interstate 40 on Lakeside in Amarillo. For more race and ticket information, contact the speedway (806) 383-0375.
