BONUS CASH UP FOR GRABS AT NEXT URA UNLIMITED SPRINT CAR RACE AT SMS!

(San Bernardino, CA, August 11, 2013)  Dirt Entertainment and the United Racing Association (URA) are pleased to announce that Santa Maria Speedway promoters Ruben and Katy Munoz have offered a cash bonus of $250.00 to be paid to the highest finishing Sprint Car Team that competes with a 360 cubic inch motor in the Unlimited Sprint Car A-Main Event on Saturday, August 24^th!    

Who will take the challenge?  Better make your plans to be there and find out! 

This event is Round #6 of the 2013 URA Unlimited Sprint Car Series and marks the first appearance of the series to the fast and always entertaining 3/8-mile clay oval located on the Central California Coast just off Highway 101 in beautiful Nipomo, California.  The weather is expected to be perfect for a night of racing and good times.   

Riverside, California’s David “Dynamite” Cardey and the Moose Racing #92 Team come into this event with the series point lead and with momentum on their side, having not finished outside of the Top 5 in all five previous events, and picking up Unlimited Sprint Car victories in the Inaugural URA event on March 16^th at Route 66 Motorplex and at Orange Show Stadium on June 1^st.   Matt Mitchell of Yorba Linda, California is second in the series standings and is expected to return to Santa Maria Speedway driving the potent #91 Bobby Ferro entry, which he drove to victory at Route 66 Motorplex on May 11^th.  Rounding out the top five in points are “Sic” Nic Faas of Huntington Beach (3^rd), Yorba Linda’s Rip “The Ripper” Williams (4^th), and Damion “The Demon” Gardner of Concord, CA (5^th).

Saturday, August 24th is an Open Wheel mega-event that you won't want to miss.  In addition to the URA Unlimited Sprint Cars, the popular Unlimited (Full) Midgets, URA Limted (Focus/Ignite) Midgets and Condon Motorsports Mini Dwarf Cars will also be on hand to do battle on the coast at Santa Maria Speedway Saturday, August 24th.

Tickets are $18 for Adults and $16 for Seniors, Military, & Students. Tickets are $6 for kids ages 6 to 12.  Kids 5 years and under are FREE!

Spectator Gates open at 4:30 PM.  Qualifying starts at 5:00 PM.  Racing starts at 6:00 PM.
