Can anybody give an approximate date as to when Kings Royal tickets go on sale for next year? Made our first trip out there this year and plan to be back every year from here on out.

Check the eldora website...mid march perhaps?
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

If I remember right the reserved seats are offered to this years owners in November. After that all reserved seats are up for grabs, looking at the calendar I would guess on November 30 or December 7. If you are interested in general admission tickets anytime after Dec 7 should be fine.

It will probably be July 11th for the knight before and july 12th for the Kings Royal.

I just hope they don't have it the same weekend as the Country Concert again in 2014, that was a tough decisn to make this year.

did the royal this year. no need for reserved seats tho imo. lawn chairs on the grass is hard to beat compared to reserved. lots of room to "move around". bought them in june..general admission
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

I would get hotel rooms now. Rooms dont last long for that weekend.

Hotel rooms I'm not worried about because we stayed at a cabin at a camp ground near by. A would anybody else recommen. The lawn chair idea?? Better view?

I disagree. If you are in the grass in one and two all you see is a wing go by in those corners. Reserved lawn chair seating in the North Terrace (turn four) you can see the entire track. I got back to turn four for the first time in years, big difference to me.

turn1 lawn chairs least amount of dust..(this year was a fluke with the eastern wind)
turn 3 can get dusty but as an AWESOME view of cars coming off of 2 & backstretch..
turn 4 is a sandblaster but cool for restarts.
front stretch is hot sticky crowded.. With jumbo screen now, I'll never sit on front stretch for the royal..
back stretch from pits is cool.. No drunks to deal with & with jumbo screen is manageable..
I haven't bought reserved seats in 5 years.. I've sat in turn 3 bleachers (easy to find a seat if sittin in middle of bleachers) or turn 1 grass.. Last years KR I watched from pits In lawn chair..
