Kevin seems to win in anything he races. Anyone have insight into why he doesn't have more consistent sprint car rides?

Because he doesn't want them.

I think, with his talent, if his last name were Smith or Jones or something similar, owners would be keeping his phone hot. Just my two cents.

Perhaps because he wants to make more money than he spends.
Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

The motor he ran last night was the exact same motor in the Buch 13 when Leffler was taken from us.

Very few understand this comment... however you accurately summed up the state of sprint car racing...

NASCAR. He can make more money in 3-4 NASCAR races than he can in a season of sprint cars.

It wouldn't matter anyway. They can ring his phone all they want and he will never race sprint cars full time. He doesn't want to race sprints full time. If he did, it would have already happened. See posts above about money and NASCAR.

I think you would be surprised at what MOST of the Nationwide drivers make. Cup drivers do very well but only a handfull of the Nationwide drivers are making really good money.

You may be right but they call you up to the Cup series from the Nationwide series, not the World of Outlaws.

You must understand Kevin is trying to blaze his own legacy and create a profitable career while doing so. Sprint cars are a bottomless pit and grind on a family. I think he's doing it correctly and wish him the best but to agree with " Opnwhir" that being the son of a superstar race car driver has its up's and down's, and when your father was un-fairly issued the black hat in most of his career the son is given it to wear by proxy. I know Kevin and he's a great kid and wish him all the best!
