So the prices last night were RIDICULOUS! I saw on the main hoseheads forum that Williams Grove WoO was $30 last night. Instead we pay $35 for ASCS. I know the old saying "if it's too much then stay home" but this is crap.

You did get screwed I only paid $20. Guess all that sucking up to the officials about the bad tracks didn't help you.

the little fat midget man almost had a lawsuit on his hands tonight at Lawton. Firworks took off through the stands but luckily went slightly above the top row and hit one of the wood light poles. Lawton was as heavy as OKC was dry. For the sprints it was all luck of the draw. And Gary Wright drew 4th and got lucky that Gary Owens stepped on it comin out of turn 4 on the last lap......got lucky again drawing 2nd in the dash.......and guess who won? And bad luck might have nixed a close points chase at least for the moment. As a swamp for a racetrack and drawing 6th in his heat put Jason Johnson in the B----where he came up one spot short. provisionals put you in the A to get the money......but I guess not the points this year. The feature was good to watch as there ended up actually being some passing.......the 41 went from 22nd and I think got 6th. quite a feat considering after a couple of opening lap Lawton fiasco's (imagine that) the race went virtually caution free.
Why are Lanny's racetracks so damn inconsistent? It's either bone dry or rutted and heavy........

I prefer to call it being "LannyJacked". Every advertisement in the local newspaper and on the website said the pit passes were $22. You get to the track and they are charging $30. You know if he keeps doing stuff like this, the other classes will go race somewhere else on the three nights that the ASCS comes to town. I like watching the ASCS cars, but I'll be damned if I am going to keep paying extra to run the support class for them.
By the way, the proper spelling is "ridiculous"
"Just a dirt track racer"

That's how I learned to spell it in college. Haha, I thought it looked wrong, but I typed it in Word and it cleared the spell check. If you want you can also point out that I missed a comma and a capitol letter leading into the quote. Then, precariously, I left another item of punctuation out of the first post...can you find the hidden treasure?
By the way, you left a period off of your last sentence.

I agree that the pit pass are too high when he is making the regular guys run for points and the same purse. That is the reason I didn't go to the pits at either of his track. I am not sure but the web site for Creek County said that it was $25 for regular and special shows.
Now that being said why was it $20 at both CC and SFS, but only $15 at Lawton for the Grandstands?
P.S. did anyone else buy a beer coosey (not sure on the spelling) and notice it had a state of Texas logo next Lawton speedway?

Pit passes at I-30 and Creek County were $25.00. $30.00 at the Devils Bowl and $35.00 in OKC and Lawton. Thought that I was getting a deal at Devils Bowl because at the Spring Nationals they were also $35.00.

that alone is gonna kill dirt track racing at SFS. Fat little greedy bastard. and to think I was pissed about 20$ in the stands. The more I think about it the more I realize indoor soccer is cheaper than goin to dirt track races...................
