TK broke the rear end while leading (not second) with 4 laps to go. Kaeding showed he will be tough at the Nationals.

As originally posted, TK broke while running 2nd, after starting on the pole, being run down by 6th starting Brown, passed under green, then repassed after a restart, before breaking going into turn 3 running 2nd. Probably would have finished 3rd if he hadn't broke. I do agree though, Kaeding will be tough at Nationals.

Tim Kaeding at Knoxville. It would be great to see a driver from California win the Nationals. Tim Green led the first 15 laps in 1979 before breaking. Kaeding is always fast at Knoxville but seems to have trouble with his cars breaking.

I'm pretty sure Missouri Drivers have won more features at Knoxville than any other State.
I'd be interested to know if anyone has that Stat.

Actually, if you add up all the feature wins since 1954, native Iowans have more 410 wins than any other state. Missouri based drivers are close tho, only about 15 behind. If you count 360's and 305's, it's not even close. And I didn't even use the Posse criteria that if you lived in the state at the time, it counted. That would have added about 50 or so more to the Iowa side of the ledger.
