I saw the winged portion at Winchester on Direct TV's MAVTV... I believe it was last weekend when it aired... Loved listening to Tom Bigelow doing the color.

It was well done and scary as hell at those speeds. Kind of a low car count and passing was tough, but there are only so many that are crazy enough to run that joint in what's very close to a open comp winged Sprinter

I think the Anderson Speedway show is the Little 500 before Indy 500 !

I have caught Must See Racing for about 3 years now and I agree, way fast. I would like more passing but again, it is racing. Something to watch to kill some time....

I saw them last year at Oswego 5/8s mile and Shangri-la2 1/2 mile pavement tracks and i have to admitt VERY fast; NO front row winners either ONLY in heats at both tracks; # 26 aaron pierce won at shangri-la2 and # 88 Jimm McCune won at oswego; there were ONLY 14 at shang 2 and 17 at oswego; still worth a trip to both track; sprints were a tick faster than Isma Super at Oswego !

"sprints were a tick faster than Isma Super at Oswego !"
Those speeds are one of the reasons why when they started putting wings on Sprints and Midgets they were called modified Midgets and modified Sprints, and why I call winged Sprinters today a "super modified".... When they had the Supers at the Copper World Classic some of the guy's would throw a big wing on top with a Donavon big block up front on a champ car and run it as a Super Mod on the one mile. They could have done basically the same with a sprinter, but it would have been suicidal
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Tim Cox, and son Jason are local. Tim's Dad, Roger, was a flagman for many years at Wilmot.

I just switched from Time Warner cable to Directv just to get MavTV. With airings of Indiana Sprint Cars, ASCS sprint cars, Must See Racing sprint cars and supermodifieds, Lucas Oil late models and modifieds how you can you go wrong? Its an outstanding network for the sport we love. Only disapointment is its not aired in HD but I'm sure that will change.
