DARLAND WINS AT BLOOMINGTON, TAKES ISW POINT LEAD

Bloomington, Ind........Dave Darland of Lincoln, Ind. is the new point leader in the 2007 Lucas Oil Indiana Sprint Week standings going into Saturday's finale at Haubstadt, Ind. after winning Friday night's 30-lapper at the Bloomington Speedway.

Darland passed Brady Bacon on lap 25 and led the final six laps in his Pace Brothers Construction/DSR Maxi/Chevy.

Jerry Coons Jr. led the first lap and finished second ahead of Robert Ballou, Bacon and fast qualifier Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

Bacon led laps 2-24 before slipping on the top of the banking in turn four and allowing Darland to slide by for the lead.

Jon Stanbrough slipped during qualifying and was unable to earn a feature starting berth, slipping to third in the ISW standings as a result.
