Swindell, McCarl, Walker, and Larson...these are the buzz words that spark heated debate on here over and over.
To me that makes them the most "valuable" drivers in sprint cars right now.
Thoughts?

Agree on all but one. Bad press by being a bad boy on the track is one thing. Bad press like Walker brings is another. He is a black eye on the sport. Hate Nascar all you want--they do not tolerate that kind of off track behavior anymore. Look what they kicked Allmendinger out for. Virtually nothing compared to what they allow in the sprint car racing world. Bad Pub.

My mistake...Walker is definitely not valuable to a sponsor or the sport. However, McCarl and Swindell are the right type of "bad". They play to their parts, and they get people to talk about them.
I actually think McCarl is a great PR man, and knows how to play to the crowd. I think Sammy just doesn't give a shit, and loves to be hated.
Finally, Larson is talked about for all the right reasons...he wins, and he's just bad fast.
