Marysville has cancelled due to excessive heat. They're just a bunch of wimps up there. It was just as hot at the last OSS show, and that was a terrific show.

Summer Sizzle @ Canyon tomorrow - 118 degrees. No wimps there !. Whats the hottest anyone remembers racing in. I remember 121 @ Manzy 6 years ago.....

It will be 105 at OSS Saturday . But in Peoria Arizona at canyon speedway for the summer sizzle race Saturday it will be 119 and they are still racing.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Hottest weather I remember was at Las Vegas with SCRA, late June 2002. 126 degrees in a paved pit area.
Dave. The temperature at Marysville will be 108 with a heat index predicted to be 120. Have you ever been there? Not ideal for that place, especially when you have to look towards the sun during qualifying and the heat races.
