I may have missed it, but I haven't seen a thread congratulating Cody Darrah on last nights win. I may have had my doubts with this guy a couple of years ago (only because he seemed to get a very good seat at a very young age), but the more I see him and the more I hear him speak, the more I root for him. He seems like a genuinely good guy... he's humble, appreciative, and he's been running up front a lot recently.

Regardless of who you cheer for, you have to give it to the younger drivers who are coming through the ranks that show class and integrity. These guys could all be obnoxious or stuck up... I'm sure we can all name a few who fit that description... but it's nice to see the majority of these talented younger guys showing a bright future for this sport.

Congrats Cody Darrah.

Cody earned the win, no one gave it to him. He did a great job. Also no one on computer asking when S. Kinser was going to retire. Steve 3 rd and his son 5 th

I agree. Super nice guy. Had the opportunity to meet and visit with him in El Paso. Good ambassador for the WoW and the sport.

I have a theory, because he's from PA? After Schatz out-dueled Rahmer and Hodnett there was a post bashing PA and their lack of good racing before the 15 had cleared the scale. When Darrah out-duels Kaeding, Saldana, and a couple of Kinser's....it's crickets here on Hoseheads.

No double standards here, not at all wink

I agree, Cody is one of the young guys running that keep me optimistic for the future of sprint car racing. you can tell he's got dirt track racing in his blood, so to speak. Looking forward to seeing him race saturday @ beaver dam!

Good job Cody. Really hoping the kid can continue to improve. I know that he has had many critics in the past but sprint car racing is not easy and it takes some time for people to develop. Hope he gets a few more before the season ends.

I'm mildly surprised it's taken THIS long to get a W. When he was a regular around here, the kid was a force to be reckoned with just about EVERY weekend. No doubt he's got the talent. Congrats Cody!
