Baloney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! King of the West has been playing games with us since the first of the year, when their schedule was delayed week after week. How about the fans and promoters that are affected by this. When re they going to quit acting like our Government and give us some straight facts.

Maybe it is not baloney but hooray. I am getting too old and haste can make waste. Do I assume that King of the West with friends is coming to SMS instead of winged sprints, thus making two trip to SMS.

I now hear from friends the KWS is running at Placerville on June 29. This makes SMS the big looser in that it leaves them less than two weeks to fill the void of losing their main feature for the evening and at this time I have heard nothing about any additions to their schedule. Tough on a new promoter. Makes one wonder, what really is going on.Kings got all the good WCS races and their promoter who made the cancellation handles the Winged Rebels. Is an old promoter spinning his web, thus making things tougher on the new kid on the block? It still is a lot of BALONEY, BUT FOR A DIFFERENT REASON.

Is it the KWS series or the KNS ( king of Nevada series) I was one of the KWS fans that traveled to a lot of there shows but they have taken that to farther lengths than I wish to travel. So ill find things closer to home to entertain myself. I will get to watch them in sept at Tulare and at the cotton classic. The rest of the time I get to see these guys is when they run with the WoO.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

Dirtface; I do not have a KWS schedule but my friend who called was reading from his personal travel schedule and he goes to all the 410 races in Northern Cal. including the Outlaws.

Guys....I made the decision with Ruban because the fact was the cars were not going to make the haul. Sorry to burst your conspiracy theory, but it was in SMS best interest.
I can't let someone lose money on a show and possibly hurt future wing races knowing this. The majority of racers were making Plans elsewhere. Sorry.
As for KWS I have no idea what is going on. I have one show in October and I'm gonna just worry about that one.

And I earned my dates! Kings has always had several Bandit/SCRA/wc360 shows. And a huge chunk of cars are in our area.
Ruben and I are friends. And this isn't a plan to hurt the new guy. This is business. We try to work around each other as much as possible. And with the momentum Rebels was gaining I figured it would be a hit. And Ruben was willing to take that chance. But knowing in advance the cars weren't supporting it I had to step in.
Now can we start talking about racing and not playing arm chair promoter.
Hope to see you guys at the races!

Yes, but it would have been nice if you had said all this in your initial posting, which was.. confusing.
