Hi

I have a old Schnee chassis from 1990-or1991.I got it from a friend years ago. I'm 4th owner. Car is black and had 11 on it. 2nd owner back in 92/93 said it was Todds car and dominated out East and Sharon in 90 or 91.! Possibly this was used to beat Outlaws at Selingsgrove 6/1/91? I was thinking to restore it to it's winning colors and possibly join a florida club that has a growing number of vintage sprints.

The car I have is 86/40 low rail and reversed rear torsion bars. Any pictures from 1990-1991 would help..or if Todd or crew reads this,,information appreciated.

thanks

Brian

Here's pictures I could find. The #4 is when my friend owed it in 93. I bought it a few years after this picture taken dismantled. The wings, rearend and steering box are gone now...but debating if it's worth restoring as one of these and which one. Still not 100% which car it really is(if either)..he probably had 2-3 chassis each year?

I thought of Super Todd's WoO win on Sunday the way Marks was running the wall. Sgrove is so cool.

Luna's Ford engine style that won 2 WoO titles and 3
Kings Royals before a weight rule against the best EVER
in their prime and now DOMINATES super dirt late model
racing is no longer allowed/wanted in a WoO sprint
car.... Was Luna a miracle worker?

Todd started on the front row of the Kings Royal in 1991 in that car before flipping in turn 3.

If memory serves.

I've been studying the pictures. I'm thinking it was the lower picture with red/blue stripes.

I found it for sale in 92 in auto racing news. Told my friend about it and we drove from western pa out east to look and buy it. I remember looking at the 11 on it and asking if it was Kinsers!...The seller told me about Todd and this was the real #11 LOL,,,and how he kicked butt at Sharon and other places local there East Pa. It went home in back of pick-up with us. Dismantled chassis. About a year later,it was assembled with a little 355 and used at Hickory Pa and Lernerville. I got to take it for a spin as payback for finding it.That's me in it my first feature. Finished last...but in one piece, on lead lap. By lap 10 I was doing OK and picking up the pace and leaders where not catching me anymore. Back then Johnny Beaber and Davey Jones where hot at Hickory. I was hooked and had to get one too. A few years later I bought it as a spare,,once again dismantled. I've moved South..and it got shoved out in weeds up there in western pa. Had it hauled down a month ago and sparked by a great vintage turn-out at East bay thought of redoing it as either a limited 360"top-Gun" or in Todds colors for Vintage club shows.

I remember the car being odd feeling with the flopped rear,,and others who drove it shared this.Soft on right and tight in midcorner. It ended up with a 1100 bar in RR. Obviously Todd made it fly and was a real sprint car pilot..and it never had a engine in it like Todd had .

It's been called junk for a few years by my family...and I've saved it from the scarp yard more than once...but maybe it would be a good slick track 360 car or nostalgia toy. Maybe I should have the rear tubes replaced to std...

There's something special about that first love..many guys think it was a girl in High school..I remember this night as mine...
