Caney Valley Speedway Kicks off 2013 this Friday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – May 14, 2013 - Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas will kick off their 2013 race season with a special Friday night edition of racing atop the quarter mile clay oval. The speedway, that normally competes each and every Saturday night, will switch to this Friday night due to the Caney High School graduation. The track will go back to Saturday night racing on May 25th and the OCRS sprint car tour will also be making an appearance.
DIRTcar sanctioned super late models paying $700 to win and $125 will once again be part of the weekly divisions at the speedway. Other divisions competing include B-mods, factory stock, pure stock and non-wing micros.
Gates open at 5:00 PM with racing slated for an 8:00 PM start time.
Pit passes for car and driver are $30 while pit help pit passes are $25. Grandstand admission is adults $8, senior citizens is $5 and kids under the ages of 12 are free. More information concerning Caney Valley Speedway can be found at www.caneyvalleyspeedway.net or call (620) 330-0485.
