Matt Mitchell won the main in Bobby Ferro's #91; David Cardey in the Moose; Cody Williams was third. By phone from Rick the Grease Trap Man.

Agreed Rob....no excuses....we tried some different things with track prep and it all went bad. My apologies. It was an off night all around. We are already working on fixing the issues with the track surface and the show. Like I said , my apologies and no excuses.

Scott, no apologies necessary, we all knew there would be some 'growing pains' along the way.
My hat off to all the sprint car teams who participated last night as the racing was spirited and at times intense throughout the entire field. Matt Mitchell earned the win, as he was very impressive in not only figuring out how to go fast on a challenging track but also in adroitly working traffic.
A tip of the hat also for Doug Bushey's work in the announcer's booth, he came off as an honest broker, who encouraged those in attendance to email him with comments and suggestions (positive and/or negative) on how to improve the URA product.
Being a transplant from the Midwest, I know the importance of having a number of racing venues within an easy drive of each other. I believe the health of 410 non-wing racing in Southern California is contingent upon having increased opportunities for fans and teams to participate. The URA is addressing this critical need.

Hats off to Scotty, Doug, Steve O and the entire URA people. No, the surface was not perfect, but we all had to run on the same surface. You are going to be experiencing growing pains. I have no doubt you will learn and grow from last night.
As a team, we are excited that we have another 2 venues close to home. Keep up the good work. We will definitely be back. Thanks for your efforts and keep your head up!
