Rain has pushed tonight's race at Salina Highbanks Speedway to Saturday night (April 27). Anybody with tickets can use them on Saturday. All times remain the same: pits scheduled to open at 2 p.m.,
grandstands at 4 p.m., hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m.
Anybody with questions can call the track at 918-434-7223.

Again, for those who missed it earlier, rain has pushed the World of Outlaws event at Salina from tonight to tomorrow night (Saturday):

Sprint Cars move back a day
SALINA, Okla. — April 26, 2013 — Persistent rain overnight and this morning
has forced World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series officials to delay Friday
night’s event at Salina Highbanks Speedway to Saturday night, April 27.
All fans who have already purchased tickets can use them for Saturday
night’s race. Times for Saturday’s event will remain the same, with the pits
scheduled to open at 2 p.m., grandstands at 4 p.m., hot laps at 6:30 p.m. and
racing at 7:30 p.m.
Fans with questions about the event at Salina can call the track at
918-434-7223.
Craig Dollansky won the only previous appearance for the Outlaws at Salina.
Oklahoma native Daryn Pittman is the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series
championship points leader entering the race tomorrow night.
Salina Highbanks Speedway is 7 miles east of US 69 on Highway 20. The GPS

If they cancel due to being too wet tomorrow, I'll guess it won't be until at least 2:00 PM so none of their guys can get to Knoxville in time to race...

Alls I can say is thank goodness for enclosed trailers because if they got the hail thrashing in Salina that came thru here earlier this evening in OKC (2"+ at 50-60mph and was headed Northeast) it would have seriously trashed some wings.

Salina is bad to the bone. That place is frighteningly fast,and it ought to be even more so with the rain.
I saw a late model show there in 2001 after a heavy rain,and they were absolutely flying around the place. I can't imagine how fast 410 Sprints would've been going!

They would have to cancel by about 10am for them to have much of a chance to make it to Knoxville in time.
