Beaver Dam Raceway, small track. Should be a good turn out and should be a very good show. Sprint car double-header
Real race cars don't have fenders...

Beaver Dam is a nice facility. It's called a third, probably a long third, with plenty of bank. Track record is 11.275.
Normal front stretch seating, grass area seating and a nice bleacher set up in the pits.
It has been a really long winter, it doesn't want to let go, so I would bring plenty of warm clothes. I am sure there will be plenty hot coffee and hot chocolate. On that same note its hard to say what kind of race track will show up. There has been lots and lots of rain this spring so don't be surprised if the grader needs to come out over the course of the evening to straighten things out.
I think it's the best overall facility in eastern Wisconsin.

Unfortunately that track record will never ever fall. This place used to be one of the raciest places around. They switched to new clay some years back and its never been the same. A lot more rocks and dries out really quick. Absolutely LOVE the facility tho! Great place to watch a race! Just miss the tacky track and big cusion it used to build

As long as they can pass. Place has been pretty tough to get around someone at times.

fastrip. I think plynouth is a better facility than Beaver Dam!Plymouth is much racier track and they have much better food.
I wish IRA would get a show at manitowoc. not a bad seat in that place although little beaver should be a good show.

Ya know, back in the day (1999ish) this track was the bomb. 7 or 8 bucks to see a beautifully manicured and racey track, see 50 or 55 360's and 40ish IMCA mods, with 3 other starter classes. HAVA TAMPA series, WoO Gumout and WoO along with IRA were some AWESOME stuff. Somewhere along the line something happened and you would think that the money they got for the cough, cough, fire, they really would have made more improvements and fixed what ever they broke with the track (now it is 1 lane and dusty garbage racing).
I probably side with Kyle Petty and his view of Darlington. I would probably take "little beaver" and make a great fishing hole out of it, plain and simple.
Have fun tonight, wish I could at least be there to smell the "official" scent of summer... burnt methanol.
Easy now

Gumout series was awesome. Here right now and it's not star studded and the track is shit. They are plowing it now and it should only take maybe an hour or so. They are really concentrating on top grove and no ones gonna run up ther anyway. 20 bucks now for kids too. They are broadcasting NAPCAR race over radio right now while they dick with the high groove. I'm sure people are DVR ing the NAPCAR race to watch when they get home.
Btw Darlington is awesome. One of the only races to go to. Kyle Petty said that cuz it's a drivers track and Kyle Petty sucked. Dick Trickle won there who was an awesome driver.
This series ain't long unfortunately.

Well after reworking the entire track before the heats we were treated to an excellent night of racing. It held up all night, reminded of those days back in the 90's when they would reworked it before most features.I brought a rookie fan along and this was the kind of track and racing that hooks new fans.

Track sure was racier after they worked it, but man was it rough! Kind of expected that to happen being the first race there this year. I know some guys are pretty sore today from being thrown around. None are as sore as Dave Uttech though. He took a pretty nasty ride in his heat. Glad to hear he is ok!
