Yeah I hope the car count goes up a bit next week.
Fixed the links as well, didn't realize they were not working.

"PUT YOUR SWEATER ON: DON'T YOU THINK I KNOW WHEN
YOU'RE COLD?"

Things have been going downhill for the past several years since Fred Brownfield passed. Seems like it`s headed for life support real soon if someone with conviction doesn`t step up soon. It`s not only GHR, Skagit`s numbers are way down as well, as are the Oregon tracks. I used to make the 2 hr drive for weekly shows pretty regularly. Now it`s just not worth the trip. Now I only go to the touring series shows and they are fading fast. Used to be 30-35 cars at ASCS shows, now you are lucky to get 20. Hope someone, anyone comes forward with a plan to turn things around up here! I sure don`t have the answer, and by the looks of things those in control don`t have a solution either.

it appears that ghr is among the several tracks that are going down fast due to poor management (politics), fair board? they could care less. peeps just are plain fed up with this chit. all we want do to is go racing right? promotors (schrammy) against the management? maybe. myself i think schrammy has done a great job here in the NW. again, jmo folks.
willamette speedway in lebanon (for us oregon residents) is real nice and has plenty of quality programs there this year. as far as skagit goes, local drivers are leaving that venue as well!
but, that's life right?
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

just because you took a old facility and dump a bunch of money in it doesnt make you a good promoter. its about how you treat the racers also and right now some of them dont feel like they are appreciated. i dont think it is a good thing to have one guy owning or having the promoting rights to every track in the northwest other than skagit because then he doesnt care cause you cant just go race for a different promoter. 3 or 4 years ago never would have thought that beitler would be the "nicer" promoter in the northwest.
