Has anyone noticed the job this kid is doing? Up to 6th in the standings with 3 top 5's and 7 top 10's and this is with one of the under-funded teams. Had quick time last night (yes I know only 21cars but still your going against Pittman, Schatz, Swinndell, etc) and a top 5 finish. Nice to see both him and Bill Rose's team doing good. I have a huge amount of respect for Bill doing what he does on the budget he has.

You beat me to it. I have been more than impressed with how well Gravel has done in the Rose car. 6th in the standings with missing the first night or two. He is running extremely well with an underfunded team on tracks he has never even seen before. He is definately opening some eyes.

I would say with the job he has done as a fill-in for Rose, should look good on his resume for future rides. He has done a great job.

I agree he has done a great job in the #6 car. Gravel did run the first outlaw shows in Florida in his own car so he has not missed any races. You would think his phone would be ringing for a permanent ride by someone. Anyone have any confirmation on what is going to happen next for Gravel? Last I heard is come Paducah he was back in the family car and going to try to run the rest of the Woo schedule but funds was not looking good to do it. Anyone got any info.

I saw Gravel in Merced and Hanford passed lots of cars got spun in Hanford and moved back to 12th, lots of folks were talking about him. Talked to Bill Rose in Merced he still had cast on worked on car and drove the Hauler out of the place, he is way cool. I think he got 4th in Tulare 32 cars which is way fast and a big hop into one, I have seen 5-7 go over in hot laps and qualifing many times.

Good news from the Rose press release on HH that Gravel will be in the seat this weekend and from the sounds it might a bit longer as Rose still is recovering. “He’s done great,” Rose said. “He had a chance to win three races on the West Coast swing and set a new track record at El Paso, so he’s done an excellent job. It’s stupid to take him out of the car when he’s 100 percent and I’m not even close.” Rose, who has a doctor appointment next week, is planning on sitting out the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series events this weekend at Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Ky., on Friday and at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind., on Saturday. Gravel will be in a Bill Rose Racing car both nights.
