The "Hammer" held off a hard charging Dylan Cisney last night at Port Royal. It was by far the most exiting race of the year there...Cisney gave it all he had, driving with what appeared to be inches between his car and the guard rail in 3 & 4 at one point. It was shaping up to be a great 3 car battle for the lead, before Buckwalter slowed while leading on Lap 13.
Heimbach had a flat under the Lap 13 yellow and raced back to 9th.
It was announced that Logan Shuchart will pilot a Weikert #29 in 2 weeks for the $10,000 to win Bob Weikert Memorial All Star show. Many of us Port fans thought Kauffman would be in the Weikert themed ride, being it's his last year however that wasn't meant to be.
