I'm not so sure now that Hoosier has the cars locked down again the the racing wouldn't be BETTER if drug use was mandatory! Yep

Tyler Walker seems to me kind of an exception, The Bad Boy of Sprint Car racing you might say! Personally even though I am older maybe I am being naïve in believing, or choosing to believe that most Sprint Car Drivers are Honest, Hard Working, Wholesome people that grew up racing as kids and spent 99% of their time wrapped up in their racing values and not being Drug Addicts. I mean isn't that what it is all about is getting our kids involved in things that they will love more than Drugs & Alcohol... Like I said Tyler Walker is an exception and I still have

not given up hope on him even though he is making it harder & harder to be a believer.

Who would drive the cars?

That's a good one.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

These guy can call bullshit on the 60 beers a day all they want to. I know for a fact that he does and that's all that matters. Do I think he should get help. Yes. I would not have used it as a reference if it wasn't fact. The man is 45, and is Mother raised all of his kids. The fact is that it happens and is real. 2 30 packs is no different than someone drinking a half gallon of whiskey a day. if you've never heard of it you're lucky you don't know anyone with that bad a problem. Watch Dr. Drew sometime.

It was credible until you mentioned that scumbag hack, Dr. Drew...Is he on the verge of having someone else die again?

Not so sure I believe they should do it per say, but if they were to do it...

Track hires some sort of outside agency to administer it.

If positive, driver pays, negative track pays.

Testing done before the nights events.

Penalties are not being allowed to compete until they get clean (negative result)

Not made public, although chances are people will find out anyways.

Honestly, as long as they aren't under the influence while at the track and in the car, I could care less what they choose to do on their own time.

I agree 100% with your last statement. Sprint car racing has been fine without drug testing and I see no reason to start now. Is drug use in the pits really happening? I've never seen nor heard of it. If it does happen, I'd say it's far less than it was back in the 70's and late 60's. Now out in the parking lot is another story. LOL BTW marijuana is now legal in 2 states for recreational use and legal in many states for medicinal use.

Can I give la bit of a lead up to why this happened . The week in the lead up to this meeting . The Federal Government in this country went on feeding frenzy on drugs in sport . Had a press conference . Made every leader of the leading sports front it . So Speedway Australia obviously went into freak out mould . They are the Governing Body . As for the driver in question . Record or not . All you can say . WRONG PLACE . WRONG TIME . Always going to be drug tests that weekend . Government Funding = Follow WADA code Even if the funding maybe small
