No Racing at Elk City Speedway This Weekend

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma - March 27, 2013 - In observance of Easter weekend, Elk City Speedway in Elk City, Oklahoma will be off this weekend and they will resume racing action on Saturday night, April 6th. This past Saturday night (March 23) speedway officials made the decision to be the only track in the state of Oklahoma not to get rained out. The move just about paid off as all heat races and the feature event for the bomber division completed before Mother Nature took over and cancelled the remaining events.

The makeup features for the modified, limited modified and factory stock divisions will be run on Saturday night, April 13th. After those three make up features are complete the track will pick up with their regularly scheduled weekly show with heat races and features for all divisions.

With heat races in all divisions having been completed, which constitutes a complete show, there will be no refunds on both the grandstand and pit areas. With the makeup features scheduled to be made up on April 13th, race fans can enjoy all the nights racing action for just $10 for adults; $7 for ages 12-15 yrs of age as well as all seniors and $2 for ages 6-11. Children 5 and under are admitted into the grandstands for free.

Don't forget the new start time at Elk City Speedway which is now 7:00 PM until further notice.
