Humboldt Speedway Kicks off Weekly Race Season This Saturday Night!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Midwest City, Oklahoma – March 10, 2013 - The green flag for the regular season points chase will be displayed this coming Saturday night, March 16 as Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kansas gets set for their 2013 season opener with the point season scheduled to conclude on September 6th. The three-eighth mile oval known as "The Hummer" will run one more Saturday night (March 30th) before switching back to their regularly scheduled Saturday night program on April 5th.
The tracks modified division will once again be sanctioned by the USRA and each nights weekly feature winner will earn $600. The Ray's Metal Depot B-mods will compete for $300 to win while the factory stock division feature winner will be paid $250 and the Whitworth Construction pure stock winner $200.
Gates open this coming Friday night at 5:00 pm with racing slated for a 7:00 PM start time. General admission is $10 for adults; Senior Citizens 65 yrs. and older $9; Kids ages 6-12 will be admitted to the grandstands for $5. Pit passes are $30 with kids ten and under just $10.

Humboldt Speedway is located off of Hwy 169. Take the Humboldt exit #224, go west one block to electric plant then turn left, go to stop sign and then turn left again. The track will be located one mile on your right hand side.
Also don't forget to mark your calendars for the following week (March 21-23) for the "King of America III" featuring the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) that will see Saturday night's 100 lap feature winner take home $10,000 and be crowned "King of America." Over 120 drivers have already pre-entered with entries arriving daily.
