I have known him since I was four years old as I use to play with his grandson. He has paid his respects to me and my family when we lost my Mother and Brother. He lives basically across the street from my Dad and down the street from me. This hits home:

A Silver alert has been issued for a missing 83-year-old man in Midwest City.

Midwest City police said Claude Heath was last seen near Southeast 15th Street and Midwest Boulevard, and he was last heard from about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Officers said Heath has stage 3 kidney failure, Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Family members told officers Heath has shown signs of memory loss and does not have any medication with him.

Heath was last seen wearing a brown leather jacket and driving a 1996 Dodge Caravan with Oklahoma tags 574DPK.

Heard it on my scanner and confirmed about an hour ago that my neighbor has returned home and is safe. Somehow, some way I have this strange feeling some of you race fans said a little prayer to the good man above. He is one of five families still living on this block since we moved to MWC in 1969 as all the other older folks (too numerous to count) have all deceased. As mentioned, as a boy I was over there quite often.

Thank you again for the "shares" and the prayers. I truly mean that.
