FANS CAN RACE STAR DRIVERS AT THE PAS/POLE POSITION 2013 RACE SEASON KICK OFF PARTY!
(Perris, CA, February 19, 2013) Race fans can compete against some of their favorite drivers when Perris Auto Speedway teams up with Pole Position Raceway for the "2013 Race Season Kick Off Party" next Tuesday night, February 26th, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. The party will be held at the Corona Pole Position Raceway located at 1594 E. Bentley Dr. in Corona.
A bevy of racing stars will be on hand to compete on the fun night. Included among the Amsoil USAC/CRA drivers attending will be 5-time defending series champion and 2012 Oval Nationals winner Mike Spencer.
Other open wheelers who have confirmed their attendance are
"Dynamite David" Cardey and Matt Mitchell. Among those representing the Amsoil OilTwins.com PASSCAR Series are 2010 Factory Stock champ Steven "Bam Bam" Fangmeyer, 2-time Sport Compact champ Ronnie Everhardt and 15-year-old racing sensation Nathan Deragon.
The first 144 participants to register at the event will run a 12-Cart,
14-lap qualifying heat. Costs to enter a qualifying heat will be $14.95, which is the "Member Price" and a $5.00 saving over the regular non member price. If someone wants to enter two of the qualifying heats, the price will be $25.00.
The top 12 qualifying times will run a 14-lap main event for position and the winner will carry home the "2013 Race Season Kick off Party" trophy from Perris Auto Speedway.
The PAS and track concessionaire Family Affair Concessions will
provide a free "Pinks On Wheels" hot dog (the original "Hollywood
Legend) free to everyone attending the event. Beverages will be available from Pole Position Raceway.
"The party is a great way to kick off the new racing season and have some fun with the drivers," Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian said. "Lots of people only see these guys with their helmets on in their racecars. This will be an excellent chance to come meet them and race against them. We have mentioned a handful of drivers in this release, but we expect more to be there as well."
In addition to celebrating the arrival of the new racing season, the event will also showcase a new partnership between The PAS and the Pole
Position Raceways in Corona and Murrieta. In 2013, fans who show a Perris Auto Speedway ticket stub dated within one week after the Perris Auto Speedway event will receive one member price of $14.95 at either the Corona or Murrieta Pole Position Raceway. That is a $5.00 saving. Likewise, any adult customer from the Corona or Murrieta Pole Position Raceway that presents a "Driver Stats" page dated within one week prior to a PAS event and a valid id, will receive a $5.00 discount to a to a USAC/CRA event at The PAS or a $7.00 discount to a PASSCAR race (PASSCAR event up to October 30, 2013).

Players can compete in as many divisions as they like. The winner of the USAC/CRA game will win a 20-lap ($240.00 value) driving session on the famous PAS half-mile clay oval courtesy of the Sprint Car Driving Experience.
Perris Auto Speedway is located on the Lake Perris Fairgrounds (home of October's Southern California Fair), approximately one hour east of Los Angeles and one hour North of San Diego. To get to the track, take the 215 freeway, exit on the Ramona Expressway and go three miles east to the fairgrounds.
