Aaron's father might be able to get him out of jail and into rehab, but there is no way he will be able to buy his career back. Maybe if he had been busted with cannibis, but a heroin conviction will be too much to overcome for the big leagues.

I'd say he has far more important things to concern himself with than furthering his racing career at this time.

Hawker there's about 7 ways I can think of just off the top of my head to beat a urine test. The best test are hair samples. Can't beat those. they sell stuff called omni at most head shops that you can cheat urine tests with.....you could even use sure-gel. and there is about 5 more household things you could do. and btw I know this because I used to smoke lots and lots of grass. it's great that I don't now b/c I don't have to worry about things like drug tests that normally shouldn't ever be a concern.
But anywaysas dangerous as stuff like heroin cocaine and speed are........the biggest drug problems worldwide are legal drugs. prescription drugs are just as dangerous as the rest. Xanax, Ambien, Lunesta, all pain killers.......the worst is probably oxycontin. those are all just as bad. but I guess those are ok because they are produced, sold, and controlled by pharmacutical companies. I bet they make lots of campaign donations. ![wink](/images/Main/wink_100x100.gif)

The things you have mentioned will not beat a DOT piss test. Believe me, I have seen many, many people lose some nice paying aircraft jobs by trying the items you mentioned, they test to "adultration of samples" on DOT/FAA tests. Believe me, I was a union shop steward for 5 years, I've seen 'em come and I've seen 'em go.
Also, those things you listed may work for the "low dollar" tests, but they won't if you have no time to prepare for them.
When I worked for Cessna Aircraft, they made us piss in a cup and took a snip of hair.

We are talking about heroin, not a doobie. Can they even test for heroin use? Should they even have to? Not everyone is Keith Richards.

John - Don't drink & drive here, haven't for many many years. I live out in the country off a busy highway
with a (almost 16) year old daughter driving on it so I don't have any time for dumb asses that think
they can drink then jeopordize others lives.

I am glad to hear that. The way you worded your previous post I was not sure. I too share the feeling of "I don't have any time for dumb asses that think they can drink then jeopordize others lives".
Drinking and Driving, although not as common as it used to be, is still pretty prevelant. There is no place for in today's society.

Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD

For once BRR I am in total agreement with you LOL.
No racing body should ever let him compete without a recent drug test - I don't care if it's Trucks all the way down to sprints /midgets.
How sad.

Regarding Aaron's confrontation with "The Law", they'll go easy on him.
One of their friendly counselors will give him a do-nut........and tell him to stick closer to church-oriented social activities.

you are right Hawker.......they only work for 5 panel tests. point taken.
but I still think hair samples are the most effective.

yeah paintboss that is why I don't drink at all. SInce the use is so widespread I think it is the most dangerous drug out there. Because it won't just get your liver in the end.......it leads to drink driving and a very sizeable portion of teen pregnancy as well. The latter is much more of a problem than people think.......kids havin kids. recipe for disaster.

Yep, with a token of my extreme, but remember, he used to cut the grass.
What will you do if they let you go home.
Why did you tell em, most still don't have a clue.

I guess one will never know what powers drugs can have on human beings...Unless you've done drugs I don't think you can truly judge... It must take over ones life...It doesnt matter if your rich or poor...Until you've fought an addictition I guess you wouldnt know either the effects or causes to make you keep coming back for more...It truly is sad whats going on in all walks of life...Doctors, Lawyers, Teachers, Bus Drivers, Racecar Drivers, The guy cooking your steak...From the richest man in the world to the poorest sole in the world...All are(or can be) doing drugs...
|
It is true, alcohol or drugs dont care if you are from Yale or Jail. The biggest misconception is "It won't happen to me" or "Im not that bad" ..or best of all..... "I can quit any time I want" All these things mix up into a brutal and fatal concoction that promises institutions, insanity, or death. Drugs are the scurge of the earth and are a part of life. Take your favorite driver down from that pedestal and put him on the ground with the rest of us. He or she is human like the rest of us.
