Do they race in a format like the World of Outlaws with a heat, dash, B-main and A-main? Will they have them and the regular sprint car series race that night and can they race with the IRA too? I heard its probably $15 each.

The IRA runs 3 or 4 heats, B-Main, and A-Main.  Heat winners and top 6 qualifiers (or 7, depending on if there is 3 or 4 heats) that transfer through their heats are in a redraw for the first five rows of the A-Main.  Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Arlington runs IMCA sprints, and their rules are drastically different than the IRA's.  I would expect if they are running, they are running as a separate class.  I haven't heard exactly how many classes they will be running that night, but I'll let you know if I find out.  Hope to see everyone there!

It's to bad that there is an NP ASCS show over in Slayton on the same evening and also Jackson Speedway will have a weekly show on this night.  This will prbly hurt the car count for all three tracks as far as the locals go.

I doubt it will have much effect on car counts.

Jackson & Arlington run against each other every week.

Few of the Jackson or IMCA cars have 410's to run IRA races.

IMCA cars generally don't run ASCS races unless they have a second motor.

Very few Jackson cars have supported ASCS races on Saturday nights.

The fans, on the other hand, WILL have some choices to make.

I`ve been to many IRA shows through the years and have seen as much good to great racing as I`ve seen with the Outlaws. Tickets are rarely over $20. If Deer Creek is in your area of operation, the IRA show there in `05 was terrific. There price is 18 until 2 days before, 20 at the gate and 25 pit pass.

I agree. The IRA puts on a great show for the money.

I went to both the WoO & IRA shows at Cedar Lake this year and I think the IRA puts on a much better show.
