Update on my dad! He was taken off of the ventilator on Tuesday morning and tolerated breathing on his own very well. He has been really loopy the past week due to the amounts of sedation meds they had to give him to keep him asleep. But today he was transferred out of the icu and into a regular bed in the hospital and hopefully he will be able to go home within the week. The whole Perkins family wants to thank everyone for there love prayers thoughts and cards it made all the difference in the world thank you. Sincerely Kenny Perkins.

This very good to hear. I am sure that between you and your grandmother that you have a much better idea of how he is doing than most of us lay people do. The thoughts and prayers will continue.

I took some time to visit Will Perkins today. I have to report that he is looking pretty good and seems to be in good spirits. He needs to get his strength up and has been exercising to fix that problem. You can tell that he is a true racer by scheduling his medical emergency during the off season.

Kenny,
That is GREAT news on Will. Sounds like he is on the downhill side of the battle. Keep us
