Superior Auto Supports Jarett AndrettiINDIANAPOLIS — Third-generation racer Jarett Andretti will race a sprint car this season, which will be fielded out of the Andretti Autosport shops in Indianapolis.
Joining Andretti this season will be Superior Auto, the car sales company that specializes in in-housing financing. The company has locations all over Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. This aligns perfectly with Andretti’s plan for a diverse schedule of events and class of cars in 2013.
Jarett, grandson of Aldo and son of John Andretti, will plan to spend the majority of his time in the Superior Auto sprint car, racing at various tracks throughout Indiana including Gas City I-69 Speedway, Bloomington Speedway, Lincoln Park Speedway, Lawrenceburg Speedway and Kokomo Speedway.
In addition, Andretti has plans to race a supermodified both on the East and West Coasts as well as possible opportunities in a NASCAR-style modified and asphalt late models. Also joining the young Andretti this year will be Window World, Boomerang Bay and Stoops Freightliner.
“I am very appreciative to have so many people backing our racing effort this year, especially Superior Auto,” said Andretti. “I look forward to representing Superior Auto on and off the racetrack and hope to put them in Victory Lane. This year’s schedule will allow me to become more diverse at many different tracks and I’m really excited to get started.”
Andretti Autosport is the IndyCar team owned by Andretti’s cousin Michael.
“It’s also going to be helpful to have the resources and knowledge of everyone at Andretti Autosport,” said Jarett. “They are not only family to me, but also one of the premier open wheel race organizations. I enjoy spending time with Michael and Marco and I couldn’t think of a better place to be.”

" I couldn’t think of a better place to be.” You can say that again!

Fantastic news. I'm also glad they are running the car out of the Andretti Autosport shop. Keeps it all in the family and also provides an opportunity for Andretti Autosport to possibly get more involved in their dirt track based history.

John handled a sprint car pretty damned good on the dirt or pavement. And then there is Mario. . .nuf said. In the gene pool there with the Andetti family.
Heck, John even made a few quarter mile NHRA runs under 4 seconds, 300 mph when he drove the top fuel car for ????
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

Jack Clark? That was a few brain cells ago. Back in the good 'ol 1320 days. I think thats when Taco Bell was involved. Anyway, good for the kid and John is diffently a "been there done that" racer.
Geez, I had fun.
