brian26 and bigg al,

I finally dragged everything out and got some pictures before the rain came.

I've got the frame, rear arms and bars, bumpers, nerfs, floor board, firewall, motorplate, brake pedal, coilover front axle, springs and hood side panels. (I have more pictures.)

I'd like to hear from you guys first (if you're interested), but most importantly, I'd like to have the garage space back. I thought I could find a picture of the car in an old program, but haven't run across one yet.

It looks like the same type of chassis as in this John Stewart picture of Ott's V-6 supermodified. Obviously a different hood (I'm not convinced this hood goes with this chassis) and this chassis hasn't been converted to coil over front yet (as I understood the story, the coil over was a conversion from a standard 4 bar).

Talk to me! The car is in Norman.

If it doesn't rain over the weekend, I'll drag out my Nance and get pictures of it posted. I also have some Halibrands that need to find a home. FINALLY, MY EQUIPMENT ISN'T OBSOLETE, ITS VINTAGE!

Thanks for the "crash" course in photo posting (pun intended.)

Let's try the frame picture again:

Here's the vintage Stewart/Ott picture I referenced:

Like I said, the car in the crash doesn't have the coil over front, but it appears to be the same type of cage if not the same car.

I've got several other pictures of the parts if anyone is interested.

HM

I know that Linda Ott at one time frequented this website. If she still does then maybe she can piece together then "when" all these pieces were from.

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH, 1987-88. Mike McClelland and Aaron Lemmons fighting for the win, Riney looking for his first, Abernathy looking to upset and Paul Ott flipping down the front straight, I remember it well. I would like to know what that frame was made out of, Paul always walked away and the car always returned! Oh yes, he still won with it anyway!

JD, I'll be in touch. I've put on 3k miles in the last month!
