LOTS OF PEOPLE SAY THEY GO BECAUSE THE WINE TASTEING OR THE FREE FIRE WOOD OR THE PRETTY LANDSCAPES OR THE RESTURANTS OR THE SHOPING.I GO TO THE RACES FOR SIDE BY SIDE BY SIDE RACING.I DONT LIKE GOING TO TRACK S THAT THE ONLY PASSES YOU SEE IS ON THE START.I HATE RACES AT SOME TRACKS ALL YOU SEE IS SINGLE FILE LAP AFTER LAP AFTER LAP.SOME TRACKS THAT ARE TOO DUSTY YOU CANT EVEN SEE THE RACES.I DONT GO TO SEE JUST THE CRASHES EVEN THOUGH SOME OF THE SMALLER BULL RINGS YOU SEE 3OR 4 RED FLAGS BEFORE YOU GET ONE LAP IN.I LOVE RACE TRACKS ESPECIALLY THE ONES IN CENTRAL CALI THAT HAVE GREAT TRACK PREP AND GREAT SURFACES WHERE THE DRIVERS CAN GET UP ON THE WHEEL AND RACE AND PASS WHERE THERE IS MULTI GROOVES.I GO TO THE RACES FOR THE RACIN.

WELL I GUESS CALISTOGA WOULD BE ONE OF THOSE TRACKS THAT DOESNT PRODUCE GOOD RACIN WITH THE WINGS ON TO MUCH SINGLE FILE RACING. BUT THEY GO FAST THERE BUT SINGLE FILE,WHEN THE WINGS ARE OFF THEN THATS RACIN,MODIFIEDS NOT INCLUDED,FOR THE FELCHERS THEY CHEESE AND WINE!

It has been several years ago but a local driver went to California to race for the first time.He said the holes were so big that they actually tied weight to the front.Alot of weight.Not sure what track it was.

I go to the races today because it was one of the few fond memories I had as a kid spending time with my father and older brother... 
Not to mention, hanging with BRR et al is quite entertaining...

I go to sprint car races so I can relax a little. Had one of those high pressure jobs at 50 to 60 hrs a week. I love the infield even though you can not see the entire race. After the last 25 lap feature I keep thinking I wish there was 1 more race. I get home about at 2 to 3 AM and enjoyed most of it. I never have understood all the complaints that track was to dry, to wet,races took to long, flagman likes this driver best, food cost to much and on and on. Enjoy yourself as you may not have sprint car races in your location forever.
