JONES #1 AGAIN AT PERRIS!

Perris, CA…….Tony Jones of Norco, Calif. continues to pace the field in USAC/CRA competition, winning again at Perris Auto Speedway on Independence Day.
Driving the Alexander Trucking/La Villa Restaurant DRC, Jones passed Cory Kruseman on lap 20 and led the rest of the way to beat Kruseman, David Cardey, Rip Williams and Danny Sheridan.
Kruseman led the first 19 laps. Jones’ series point lead has now blossomed to 177 over runner-up Mike Spencer, who was 15th Wednesday. Jones has now won four times this year, including three at The PAS.

Wow, two in a row, that is really impressive. I wish I could have been there, but there will be other races that the Cowboy will, no doubt, win on his way to the championship. Congratulations to the Alexander racing team, your hard work and dedication deserve to be recognized nationwide as one of the best.
