Dan Simpson owner of kws says there are more gear heads in nevada than central california thats what it said on the kws web yesterday the statement was removed today

california is billions in debt which maybe started with grey davis and enron collaspe. tax base is less in nevada i would say, biz is good in that state.

as far as dan's comments peeps make mistakes right, wrong or indefferent plain and simple. he has grown the kws to more than 30 events a year which is not too shabby.

i will continue to support the series, 410's baybeee all the way!!!!!!!!

How come Nevada has a higher home foreclosure rate than California per capita? You ever been to Reno Carson City area on a weekday lately? Dead... And you say biz is good in that state, you better take a road trip NW. Yes, Dan has done wonders with KWS but if most of his races will be held in Nevada, then in my opinion you can throw out the checkerd flag and the only winner will be the 360 groups in California which i would hate to see happen since i prefer watching 410's first and 360's 2nd.. That is just my opinion which means nothing. I asume you probably know more than me as to what is going on.. So we just have to see how all this works out.

I dont think there is any way that Dan Simpson would be foolish enough to book the majority of KWS races in Nevada that would be monumentally dumb.

I would not say Dan Simpson is dumb but some of the things he has said and done could be classified as not very smart .for example one race at chio and one race at hanford and most important zero races at thunderbowl

I understand being a business man is tough,but having zero experience in running a professional racing series is even tougher having money is not answer especially when you tie the hands of management from spending money great business mendo everything possible to get the deal done but when come in as arookie dealing with promoters that have been doing racing as a business for most of there lives you cant come in with big egos

Firing Dean Mills but keeping Workin' Woody wasn't all that bright if you ask me. That's just my opinion and wtf do I know but I know I am not alone in that
perspective. He's made some good decisions - George and Gary are two good
examples. The racing game is hard and a lot of people think they are experts
but they will never step away from their keyboards long enough to throw their name
in the hat.

We were told last season, the KWS would have two seperate champions and one overall KWS Champ. Silver State and Golden State will have an equil amount of races in each state.(plus we get all the woo races with the exception of the two in Vegas). We will just have to wait for the schedule to find out what their intentions are.

Operating out of Nevada will probably provide him with two benefits.

1. Tax savings

2. Fernley is closer to the Mustang Ranch than Rio Vista!

There used to be winged 410 team with mustang ranch support and they had an all girl crew maybe they will be at the nevada races I still have a t-shirt from them dont fit though

Names have been thrown into the hat but how many people can afford to work a real job then drive 3 to 4 hours and pay for there own hotels work for peanuts and drive home or get killed driving home the same night its a losing deal and I dont think thats fun some people think officals should get nothing for the time they spend doing something they have no control because of micro managing maybe they have not hired anyone that they can trust after all it is Dans money

it was announced at the trophy cup that there would be three or four races in nevada next year, 2013 before this announcement was made. no, never been racing there "yet" but i plan on it.

evidently business isn't good in reno, that is in nevada right? don't know about carson or any other city in nevada. tax base is why he is there no doubt or possibly, to grow the fan base and bring the 410's to nevada.
