On the bright side, at least you're not bitter and intent on holding a grudge.... wait.....

Just telling the truth Chilly W. I just happened to mention why I dont subscribe to a couple of magazines. The other one (Open Wheel) I had no choice in the matter.
Years ago I used to subscribe to a number of magazines, and I usually renewed them when I ran into Alvin "Chuck" Friedman, whom I would see at any number of different events, but most of the time at Racearama in West Springfield Massachusetts, and their yearly show there. Chuck wanted my business, and nothing was ever a problem to him. I'm sure I still have his business card somehwere, even though I have not seen him in many years. He was a pleasure to deal with, and even after all these years I can remember dealing with him,and remember his name!

FYI: That car was a Shrike chassis designed and built by Jim Gardner, Sr. Brad usually drove the #96 car and Eddie Wirth was usually in the #16 car. I remember those cars very well and Brad and Eddie had a lot of success in them. Thank you for bringing back some great memories of that era.
RIP Chet and Mark. You might be gone but never will
be forgotten.

Wonder what the entire set of Open Wheel magazines would be worth. I've got every one of them, even the last few in Stock Car Racing magazine.

Give the Open Wheel to National Sprint Car Hall of Fame, they would like them and you can write them off you Fed Income Tax as they are a 501c3 non-profit.
