Thanks very much Raceway..because...I was about to say that would be a disgrace for a such noted and highly regarded race!

Actually it was 12,500 to win . Thanks to others involved. I've been to a lot of good racing this year and this was one of the best races I've seen all year.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

There were 2 checks, one said $10,000 the other said $2,500 which I believe was a John Jory Corp bonus(Rip Williams car owner)

Perfect, thanks for clarifying! I've long been a fan of the 50 car from their start with McSpadden than Griffin and now Spencer. Broome is a Hall of Fame wrench and they've tried to win that race for a long time, so I doubt that the money means a whole lot, it's the win and the trophy. Still, it was a little disconcerting to see Spencer holding a check for only $2500 after winning the biggest race of the year at the PAS.

Just returned from the 2 nights of the Oval Nationals and fantastic racing. The heat races on Friday night were some of the best racing I had seen in years. Saturdays main event was a thriller from lap 1 to lap 40, some awesome talent working to find the spot on the track that gave them an advantage. Mike Spencer EARNED that win, and I was thrilled for him. But there was great racing throughout the field as well.

Great job Mike Spencer, and Thank You to Perris Auto Speedway!

If I'm not mistaken the 50 car has 14 championships in 17 years, with 4 different drivers . The Tempe tornado. The Gas Man , the Demon, and Mister 5times in a row Mike spencer. Congrats 50 team.

Well said, rickrwp. Was my first trip down to Perris Auto Speedway, and it did not disappoint. Can't wait to get back down there.
